The magazine BLOOM aims to inspire a love for drawing and make the process of learning accessible and engaging.
It is my intention that this creates a stronger interest in creating with one’s hands as opposed to generating using generative AI tools.
The promotion of the idea that hard work bears positive results is something I fear that, as an artistic community,
we are beginning to lose.
I intend to make sure that doesn’t go away.
With the recent development of generative artificial intelligence in the last couple of years, there has been a massive increase in using those tools to create art. Since this trend began, it has been a point of controversy over the validity of such practices. People claim it should be considered as theft as it uses millions of creators’ work to feed their learning systems, some claim it shouldn’t be considered art at all because “it only took the click of a button”.
